Is there a resume checker that works without signing up?

This one. No account, no email, no card to see the result. Paste or drop the resume, name the role, and the full analysis comes back along with the three interview questions your lines are most likely to invite — each pinned to the line that produced it.

Do it now

  1. Open the tool. There is no sign-up step to skip past, because there is no sign-up.
  2. Paste the text, or drop the file — PDF, DOCX, Markdown or plain text. The file itself is parsed in your browser; only the extracted text is sent to be analysed.
  3. Read the result. If you want the rest of it, it is one payment.

What "free" usually means on this kind of page

The standard pattern in the resume-tool category is a score teaser: upload, wait through a progress animation, get a number out of 100 and a count of problems found, then create an account to see which problems, then start a trial to see the fixes, then discover the trial renews monthly. Each step is individually reasonable and the sequence is designed so that by the time you learn the price you have already spent your effort.

The version here is blunter and less flattering to us: the free tier is a preview, and it says so. It gives you the whole analysis of the document plus your three most likely questions and one line rewritten to the standard the paid rewrite uses. That is deliberately enough to judge whether the read of your resume is accurate, which is the only test that matters, and deliberately not the whole product.

Why the score is the wrong output anyway

A resume score is a number invented by the tool showing it against rules it also invented. No employer sees it. Applicant tracking systems are databases with search over them, not graders — the useful question is not "what did I score" but "which of my claims will be challenged, and can I defend it". So there is no score here. The output is a list of the questions your document invites, attached to the lines that invite them.

The $19 Interview Prep Pack adds the full rewrite downloadable as PDF and Word, all ten most-likely questions ranked by probability with STAR answers drawn from your real experience, a 60-second walk-through script, a red-flag playbook for gaps, layoffs and title inflation, and a defensibility audit against the specific role you named. One payment, no account created, no subscription to cancel.

What happens to the file

The PDF or DOCX is parsed locally in the page, so the document itself never leaves your machine — only the text it contains is sent to the API, because that is what has to be analysed. It is held for up to 24 hours and then deleted. This is worth stating precisely rather than as a slogan: it is not a fully offline tool and it would be dishonest to describe it as one. The details are in the privacy policy.

Read the output before you upload anything

Five full analyses are published: backend engineer, fintech · product manager, B2B SaaS · data analyst to data scientist · frontend engineer, startup · growth marketer, DTC.

The honest limits

The free tier is a preview, not the full pack. There is no ATS score and no keyword-match percentage, so if that specific number is what you came for, this is the wrong tool. Nothing is invented on your behalf, which means a thin resume gets a blunt read rather than a flattering one. The text does go to an API for analysis. Analysis quality is strongest in English.
